Interesting Fact:
Dr. Mittman has a perfect record as a Varsity lacrosse goalie and was scouted by big name schools such as Duke University – for a single block during a high school game.
Dr. Mittman has been at Su Clinica Del Valle since 2016 where he is the Senior Staff Physician. Dr. Mittman has always seen helping people as his calling, following in both of his parents footsteps. Dr. Mittman worked as an EMT at Gila River Casino, a student worker at Natural Partners, as well as in an anesthesiologist office assisting with spinal injections, where he flew back and forth from Prescott and Show Low back down to the Valley performing these injections with his mentor. He has always found a knack for helping others.
When Dr. Mittman is not working, you can usually catch him finding new restaurants with his wife, Dr. Jill Smithers. Dr. Mittman and Dr. Smithers met during their schooling at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now known as Sonoran University) in 2012. They have been married since 2017 with two dogs, Cassie and Sofie, and three cats, Roo, Fig and Lemberly. Dr. Mittman also loves to go one-wheeling through his neighborhood park with Cassie.
